About Marcie and the Mouse
Welcome to Marcie and the Mouse. After my success with my main family travel site Marcie in Mommyland, I started this Disney blog to share all my detailed tips about Disney vacations.
After having kids, my family seems to do several Disney vacations every year and I’m all about getting the most bang for my buck.
Because we can’t spend every moment playing at a Disney resort, I’ve invited other family travel bloggers to share their top Disney hacks and tips for making the most of your Disney vacation.
The purpose of this blog is to share some of the tips and tricks that we’ve learned on our Disney adventures so that you can set yourself up for success!
Marcie and the Mouse is here to help you plan your ultimate Disney vacation!
WHAT TO EXPECT
When reading my blog, you’ll get tips for traveling with babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and kids of all ages. You’ll also get detailed itineraries for family trips.
Plus, a few articles about doing Disney trips without the kids!
I write sponsored posts from time to time but they are always products I either use frequently in the Parks or would purchase on my own. I also have affiliate links to my favorite products for families.

About Marcie
I’m a proud graduate of the Edward R. Murrow School of Communications from Washington State University. My professional background is in public relations, nonprofit fundraising, and community relations.

I’m now a Seattle-area Mom to my two little boys (ages 5 & 2.) Travel is very important to our family (hence the blog!) and we make it a priority to expose our kids to a variety of activities and cultures.

It’s been a lot of fun for our family because it has slowed down our pace and we’ve noticed new things in places we frequent.

When I’m not traveling, I love binge watching TV shows (especially British murder mysteries that aren’t too scary!)
My favorite place to go for “me time” is the spa. And I haven’t met a bakery I didn’t like.
