Marcie and the Mouse: Disneyland California

One of our favorite Disney Resorts to visit is Disneyland Resort in California. It’s an easy 2 hour flight from our home in Seattle and we love the relaxed vibe the Parks have.

It’s the original Disney Park.

Kid-Friendly Disneyland California Hotels

Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa

Definitely one of the swankiest Disneyland hotels, Disney’s Grand Californian is the place to go for a luxury Disneyland vacation.

It’s home to the Disneyland Princess Breakfast and they have their own entrance to Disney California Adventure Park.

Anaheim Fairfield Inn

Right now, this is my favorite Disneyland Good Neighbor Hotel to stay at. It’s right across the street from Park entrances and the rooms are spacious with some Disney decor.

Plus, there’s a Panera Bread in the parking lot for easy breakfasts/lunches.

Park Vue Inn

If you are looking for a budget Disneyland hotel, our pick is the Park Vue Inn. It’s also right across from the Park entrances and it comes with complimentary breakfast.

Things to do at Disneyland California

Disneyland Character Meals

Currently, there are three Disneyland character breakfast outside the Parks and one inside Disneyland.

Goofy’s Kitchen is the only character dinner and it’s located at the Disneyland Hotel.

Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure

One of my favorite spots at Disney California Adventure is their new Pixar Pier. This is where you’ll find Pixar-themed rides like the Incredi-coaster, Toy Story Midway Mania, Jessie’s Critter Carousel, and the Emotional Whirlwind.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

The newest area at Disneyland California is Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Here, you can create your own lightsaber or droid, play games with Rey, and pilot the Millennium Falcon.
