It’s not as hard as you might think do eat healthy at Disneyland.

Although the typical fried fare, burgers and hot dogs are still a big part of what Disney sells, there are plenty of vegetarian options now available as well as more health-conscious menu selections.

Kids have it especially good with Disney Check Meals, but they are not the only ones with healthier options.

Of the most healthy food at Disneyland for adults, these are our top five choices.

We’ve selected our favorite healthy Disneyland food options from a wide range of prices and experiences across the Disneyland Resort.

We left off some amazing healthy items because they had one or two things that we felt made them a little less healthy.

In order to avoid any unfair advantages in the taste department, we picked only the healthiest options we could find.

Best Healthy Food at Disneyland: 5 Top Options

Veggie Wrap — Galactic Grill

With so many strongly themed restaurants on the west end of the park, it comes as a surprise when the East end has very little to offer, relatively speaking.

You have two choices of restaurant inside of Tomorrowland. Pizza Planet and Galactic Grill are the only options.

Galactic Grill is your basic burger stand with a few other classic fast-food Staples and a Star Wars theme.

Although the menu consists mostly of those traditional fried theme park foods, they offer one good healthy option. This is especially significant because there are so few options on the East end of the park.

The Veggie Wrap meal includes Sun-dried Tomato Spread and Corn-Tomato Relish, with Black Beans, Mixed Greens, Cucumber, Feta Cheese and Pesto Aioli. Instead of French Fries, you can order this meal with Dannon Greek Yogurt.

The whole meal costs $9.79.

Cauliflower Tacos — Rancho Del Zocalo

Located in the square (or Zocalo) of Frontierland is a festive little outdoor eatery with a Mexican theme.

Rancho Del Zocalo offers a picturesque view of the crossroads of Frontierland near Big Thunder Mountain, the Mark Twain dock, the Golden Horseshoe and the main thoroughfare that leads to the square.

The Mexican cuisine here is among the healthiest in Disneyland park, but our favorite healthy dish is the Cauliflower Tacos with Cabbage Slaw and Avocado-Pasilla Cream. The tacos are also served with rice and beans.

The whole meal costs $13.49.

Spinach Salad — Lamplight Lounge

You can find some really healthy Disneyland food across the esplanade in Disney California Adventure.

There is an extensive selection at the fruit stands you will find there, including Mortimer’s Market on Buena Vista Street, Fairfax Market in Hollywoodland, and Fillmore’s Taste-In at the entrance to Cars Land.

These are terrific locations to stop at for a healthy snack, but for a healthy entree that is truly inspired, you have to go to the Lamplight Lounge.

An elegant yet fun gathering place for the entire family, Lamplight Lounge offers picturesque waterfront views of Paradise Bay from both upstairs and downstairs. The California casual gastro-pub cuisine will feature unique signature cocktails and fun new menu items, including this spinach salad. (Disneyland Resort)

This two-story tribute to Pixar and it’s creative culture anchors down the gateway to Pixar Pier.

For drinks and snacks, you can dine in the upstairs lounge, but you need reservations to go downstairs where the bigger food is.

There, the Spinach Salad is probably the best example of healthy Disneyland food, with an innovative mix of tasty fresh ingredients atop a bed of curly spinach.

The salad comes with warm Wild Mushrooms and a Soft Poached Egg with Shiitake “Bacon” and Blue Cheese Toast.

When the word bacon is in quotes, you know it has to be healthy for you! The whole thing is dressed with a Charred Onion Vinaigrette.

The Spinach Salad is a $21 entree.

Market Fish of the Day — Napa Rose Lounge

You may be surprised how many lounges there are at the Disneyland Resort.

Although serving alcohol inside Disneyland is a relatively new thing, there have been bars at the resort for as long as the hotels and other attractions existed.

The lounges are all very atmospheric and lovely to visit, but they also make some of the more luxurious restaurants more accessible.

The best example of this is Napa Rose Lounge, which is part of the Napa Rose restaurant at the Grand Californian. T

o get to this lounge you need to cross the lobby from the registration desk to the back and exit through the automatic sliding doors. Continue on the walk passed Storyteller Cafe and you will see the entrance to the restaurant.

You can also get there very easily through California Adventure’s side gate in the Grizzly Peak area.

The fresh ingredients and thoughtful approach to the meals at the Napa Rose make it a very healthy place to dine.

The healthiest option is the Market Fish of the Day, which is sauteed with Pacific White Shrimp and light Shrimp Broth.

The natural flavors and aroma of the fish are wonderfully accented with Lemongrass, Mint, and Chile. This entree does not come cheap, however.

At $44 it’s a plate best reserved for special occasions.

Tuscan Salad with Shrimp — Wine Country Trattoria

Sticking to California wine territory, there is another secluded place inside California Adventure Park. It’s in a unique area where several distinct sections come together.

The Golden State/Grizzly Peak Area converges with the Pacific Wharf and Paradise Gardens Park. There is a pocket of small eateries and tasting lounges here that are distinctly California.

It’s in this tucked away little spot that you will find Wine Country Trattoria, a gorgeous Outdoor Restaurant that transports you to the Napa Valley. This is an Italian restaurant with excellent wine pairings.

The healthiest meal on the menu is the Tuscan Salad with Shrimp. The salad is a blend of Romaine Lettuce and Radicchio. It comes topped with Grape Tomatoes along with other healthy ingredients. Celery, Green Beans, Cannellini Beans, and Roasted Peppers round off the healthy entree.

The whole thing is tossed in a delicious creamy Italian Dressing. This salad is perfect for shrimp lovers who want to feel good about what they eat for lunch.

The cost of the entree is $24.
