Marcie and the Mouse: Walt Disney World
One of the most expansive Disney Resorts is Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Here, you’ll find 6 Parks (including 2 waterparks) plus an entire Disney Springs entertainment area.
Kid-Friendly Walt Disney World Hotels
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
Definitely one of the swankiest Walt Disney World hotels, Disney’s Animal Kingdom is the only place where you can see giraffes and zebras right from your room!
We stayed here on our first trip to Walt Disney World and it’s incredible!
Disney’s Pop Century
We chose Disney’s Pop Century hotel for our next trip to Walt Disney World because it’s more budget-friendly and it features characters from Cars.
Things to do at Walt Disney World
Walt Disney World Character Meals
Walt Disney World has TONS of character meals both at the resorts and inside the Parks.
You can do character dining for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner with an array of characters. But, these get snapped up quickly.
One of the most coveted reservation is for Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White.
Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios
If you are a fan of Toy Story, you’ll definitely geek out when you notice all the amazing details in Toy Story Land.
Even the bathrooms have nods to Toy Story!
Epcot
This is actually my favorite Walt Disney World Park because it celebrates cultures from all over the world.
I think it’s some of the best Walt Disney World food and it’s home to the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival, and the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park
If you’ve ever wondered what it might be like to explore Africa, Harambe Village will knock your socks off!
At Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park, you’ll get to go on safari, explore the world of Pandora, become a Wilderness Explorer and see some of the coolest Walt Disney World shows.
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
The newest area at Walt Disney World Resort is Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Here, you can create your own lightsaber or droid, play games with Rey, and pilot the Millennium Falcon.
